Car history: |
Numbers matching (engine 78S424981), 4-speed Hurst transmission. Original 327/350 engine recently rebuilt to original specs (800 miles) with headers. Power windows, power steering, and a newer interior in very good condition. Rally wheels with nearly new BF Goodrich tires. Recent improvements include new exhaust back to mufflers, new brake lines, springs and shocks, starter, power steering system, and vacuum system. The body is clean with no cracks. Re-painted from original bronze; paint is good from a distance but has some flaws up close. Gaps at doors and around windshield are a little wide. The black top is in ok condition and doesn't leak. The headlights pop up but wiper door is not hooked up. Frame has a little surface rust but is solid. One of the birdcage points has some rust. Don't know mileage as odometer was not working when I purchased the car. This classic Corvette is a blast to drive and gets a lot of attention. It is a cruiser, not a show car. Sold for $16,200 on August 31, 2016. |
